Everards Strong Pale Ale: starting to get slightly addicted to these Everards bottled ales. First Old Empire and now this one. At a very healthy 6.2% this Leicester brew takes me back to the days when Everards Old Original could only be found in a few select local pubs, namely The Globe, The (old) Crows Nest and the good o’l Black Horse… Those where the days eh! The alternitive was the insipid Beacon bitter or Tiger. Tiger being the best choice…. And back to the Strong Pale Ale, seriously recomended 8/10
