Badger England’s Gold. @ a healthy 4.6% and just a quid a bottle from Tesco this “quintessentially English” brew is certainly one not to miss at any beer tasting event. The label boasts a “grassy” taste. Sadly on investigation this turns out to be the lawn species of grass and not the more exotic variety normally rolled and smoked in extra large rizlas or pipes fashioned from empty pop bottles. Never the less, a decent pint and scores 7/10 tonight.
